“Train up the child in the way he should go; even he is old he will not depart from it” (proverbs 22:6)
Our mission is to equip students to live successful Christian lives. Our goal is to impart more teens and young adults to Christ. With this goal and mission we are conducting retreats, seminars and conventions for school- college level. The II vat decreed, “a Christian education does not merely strive for the maturity of a human person…….they learn not only how to bear witness to the hope that is in them but also how to help in the Christian formation of the world” (II vat,vc 2).
The book of Ecclesiastes 12:1 reminds the youth, “fear God now because old age and death come quickly so remember your creator in the days of your youth, before the difficult days come, and the years draw near when you will say, ‘I have no pleasure in them’.”
These days due to the increased influence of social medias and the peer group pressure, the children and youth are easily mislead to lead lives having immoral activities. It is high time we thought about the means to help our youth and children to lead a holy life.
St. John Paul II when he addressed the youth during the world youth day held in torrento, “Oh Youth, you are the church.” His holiness was fully convinced that the bright future of the church is in the hands of our youth. There is an extreme need to make the youth come closer to the church.
Nehemiah missions under the guidance of the Holy spirit tries to work among the youth and children to equip them to receive the word of God in their childhood and youthfulness itself and to make them, the prophets of the time.
